Compco IT Asset Lifecycle Management provides the tools to create a central repository for all types of assets linked with vital operational data regarding configurations (CMDB) and integrates with ERP asset tracking for items greater than a site defined dollar value.

The central asset management database supports many vital IT business management and service lifecycle processes such as:

  • Procurement and Inventory
  • Configuration Management
  • Service Request Processing
  • Change Management
  • PC Refresh
  • Scheduled Maintenance
  • Repair and Warranty Returns
  • Chargeback
  • Help Desk
  • Accounting for Assets
  • Vendor invoice audit

Compco Asset Management tracks the assets and configurations used to deliver data center, desk top, enterprise applications, network, and telecommunication services throughout their life cycle:

  • Procurement (ordering)
  • Receipt
  • Staging
  • Deployment
  • Maintenance and repair
  • Move or change activity
  • Retirement

Asset Management integrates with Compco’s Configuration Management (CMDB) to link certain types of assets, such as PCs, servers, and software to site defined and detailed configuration data elements by type of asset. For example, the CMDB tracks internal hardware and software components of a PC and can be integrated with your auto discovery process.

Compco Entity Tracking creates visual relationship between assets, configurations, and communication infrastructure so that you can easily see the inter-relationship.

Deployed services can be linked to assets/configurations so that you can easily see all the customers and services that depend on a specific configuration.

Compco assets and configurations are accessible from and updated by Compco Service Request Management, Change Management, Help Desk and Inventory/Procurement applications.
